You’re visiting the home (and only) page on this web site, which is currently being remodeled. Some day in the near future, there will be more here.

Until then, here are five aphorisms to ponder. The first two were randomly selected from a listing of the purported 100 most famous and enduring quotations ever. Who know if that’s true. Something tells me the list is rather biased. For one thing, they’re all in English! And only two come from sacred texts, whether ancient or modern. Despite that, as I read through the list, I recognized most of these 100 quotations, and they all carry a ring of truth to them or offer an obvious sense of inspiration, so it’s understandable why they would remain in circulation. Perhaps you’ve also heard or read these two before.

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.

These next three come from one of those “quotes of the day” tear-off desk calendars that I received as a gift three decades ago, in 1994. After tearing off these three particular sheets. I’ve kept them pinned up nearby my workspace ever since:

Every word you speak advertises your wisdom or ignorance. Remember this before speaking.

Have you ever thought about what a vast difference there is between what you want and what you actually need for health and happiness?

There is something good about a man who is loved by his dog and his family, for they know him as he is.

I hope you’ve enjoyed your visit to this web page. Come back again after some time for the refreshed site. Until then, occasionally, I’ll change out the random quotations for other random quotations. Have a terrific day!
